Stud or hoop

A stud sits flat on the side of the nose and stays out of the way; a hoop frames the nostril. The studs come in the three shapes that decide how they hold, L-shaped, screw and bone, and most are 20G, the gauge a nostril usually settles at.

The hoops run from 8mm, snug against the nostril, to charm hoops that hang lower. If you do not know your gauge, read it off the stud you wear now or ask the piercer who did it.

Which TORNITO nose stud shape stays in best?

The screw, or corkscrew, shape curls behind the nostril and holds best. The L-shape is easier to put in and holds well for most noses; the bone is the easiest to change and to lose.

What size TORNITO nose hoop should you choose?

An 8mm inner diameter sits snug against the nostril, and larger hoops hang lower. The size of each hoop is named in the variation picker.
