You slide a cuff onto the thin part of the rim and press it gently to fit, then move it down to where the ear thickens. The hammered and CZ huggie cuffs sit where a helix piercing would; the crawler chains climb from a lobe stud to a cuff higher up; the butterfly wrap hooks over the top of the ear.
